The Nike Air Force 1 Shadow hasn’t dethroned Bruce Kilgore’s original design, but it’s found a devoted fanbase among fashion-forward consumers. Its latest iteration is sure to be lauded for its compelling color arrangement and innate exaggerated aesthetic.
As with most recent iterations of the model, the newly-surfaced pair features a muted base that sets the stage for louder accents. “Photon Dust” suede and white leather are accompanied by hits of “Barely Volt” across the forefoot, midfoot, and heel. Elsewhere, faded purple and orange hues take over detailing along the tongue and ankle, while “Royal Pulse” joins the mix via the stacked midsole tooling, “NIKE AIR”, “AF1”, and swoosh logos indulge in disparate shades of the aforementioned colors, but contribute to the Air Force 1 Low-variant’s bold, fashionable look. Sole units round out the pair in a simple white arrangement, but fall in-line with the design given their chunky composition.
